 | inspect and approve nursing schools and nursing education programmes; |
| conduct examinations and issue qualifications; |
| register and enrol nurses, midwives and nursing auxiliaries and to keep
registers and rolls; |
| where authorized by the Nursing Act, remove from, or restore to a register or roll any
name; |
| issue licences to nursing agencies; |
| charge the prescribed fees in respect of any services rendered; |
| require employers to submit annual returns of registered and enrolled
nurses in their employ and such other information as may become necessary at
any time; and |
| acquire, hire or dispose of property, borrow money on the security of the
assets of the Council, accept or make any donation or accept and administer
any trust. |
